Freshly Picked Moccasin Giveaway

There are some fun things happening over at Freshly Picked tomorrow and we are celebrating with a giveaway! The collaboration FPxLynZ features 5 unique Moccs inspired by professional skateboarder, X Games Gold Medalist and rad mom Lyn-Z Pastrana. These Moccs will be for sale tomorrow, Monday Sept 12th at 10am MST. There will be a limited quantity available, once they are sold out they will be available for special order that ships within 4-6 weeks.

Little miss Fin had the opportunity to preview the design "Skate Grip" inspired by the gritty metallic grip tape on the top of skateboards. They are a two tone moccasin; a gorgeous black glitter/metallic on top with a lime green/yellow on the bottom. So cute for boys and girls! I love the pop of color on the bottom and the metallic top is just gorgeous in person.

And because my heart is all about Halloween right now, these Moccs would be so good added to a Halloween costume! I'm thinking a kitty or a witch.

I'm having a whole new level of fun adding girly colored moccasins to our FP stash. Don't get me wrong I love our neutrals for the boys, but these pops of color sure make my heart happy.

To celebrate our love for all thing's FP we are giving away one pair of moccasins of the winner's choice! Enter below and you can also head to my Instagram {@whitrichins} for extra entries. The giveaway will run from Sept 11th - Sept 17th.

May the odds be ever in your favor....

The winner cannot have won any other giveaway including a Freshly Picked Moccasin within the last 60 days and must have a US Shipping address.

One Month Old

Yesterday our sweet little Finely turned one month old. It also is one of the hardest day's in motherhood for me. I took her to the doctor because I noticed she is having a hard time nursing, wasn't having many wet diapers and was super fussy. Turns out she isn't getting much milk due to her nursing issues and has lost weight. She is down to 6lbs 10oz. She was 6lbs 11oz at two weeks old so she should be weighing a lot more than that. You guys, my heart broke. I have one job....feed the baby! So I will be meeting with a lactation consultant to fix her latch but have to supplement in the mean time. She is just so little and I am ready to put some meat on her bones.

Now that she has a full belly she is just the happiest baby. She is still sleeping most of the day and She gets up 2-3 times a night to eat. She loves to be swaddled, her binky, sleeping on mama's chest, being burped and taking a bath. She does not like being changed, getting dressed and waiting for food.

Honestly I was so afraid to have a third baby. Everyone that gave me advice said going from 2-3 had been the hardest transition. Someone even said having a third baby was like you are drowning and someone throws you a baby. I was terrified! But it actually has been the easiest transition yet. To me, it's not much different than having two. Granted she is only a month old and really doesn't do much right now so ask me in a couple of months. So if anyone is nervous about adding a third baby, it really wasn't that bad for us! That being said...no more babies for us. :)

I have some fun stuff coming to the blog soon! I'm working on a new name, layout and content. Thank you for sticking with me as I slowed down a little bit after having the baby! I also have some really awesome giveaways coming up, one starting this weekend so make sure you keep an eye out and are following on Instagram! @whitrichins

Hope you are all having a great week! xo

Friday Favorites: Happy September

Hello Friday and Happy September everyone....the unofficial start to Fall. Despite the warm weather the leaves are changing color's in the mountain's and we are so close to all things Fall that I can taste it. I woke up yesterday morning and happily pulled my Pumpkin Spice Life mug from the back of my cupboard. For those of you still hanging on to the last bit of Summer, I have yet to get a PSL from Starbucks so don't completely hate me okay?

So to celebrate the unofficial start of Fall I am rounding up a few of my favorite products for the upcoming season.

Let's just get the most important subject out of the way. HALLOWEEN. You know we love our jammies around here, but Halloween jams are our favorite. This Monster Set for Ryder, Mummy Set for Gage and this Witch Set for Finley.
Having a girl this Halloween has me all sorts of excited and Gap's  New Arrival's including this Tutu Dress is giving me all the heart eyes. Also, give me ALL of their apple stuff!!

I am a fan of all things basic this Fall. These Bamboo Hoodies with matching shorties and a pair of tights is a great way to mix and match outfits. I also really love their Spin Dresses. Some other great shops I love for basic's are June and January and Candy Kirby Designs.

My favorite bow shop Modern Piggy just released their Fall Collection and I love them all!

This Hello Fall sign would be perfect for a front door surrounded by pumpkins.

With Fall comes another round of Family pictures so I am starting to plan outfits. This dress in olive paired with some boots and a scarf is what I have so far. I usually start with the kids and plan myself last which is always so hard so I'm glad I started with myself this year.

Plaid is a must for Fall and these Buffalo Plaid Tall Shirts for the boys are the cutest.

If you are looking for an easy way to fill your house with the scent of Fall check out this post that I did a few years back. I plan on doing an updated version of it but it has been one of my most popular posts to date.

Happy shopping friends and I hope you have a great weekend being all sorts of basic with a PSL in hand!
