A Very Merry Christmas

Is it just me or did Christmas come and go so fast?? I can't believe it's over! But this had to be the best Christmas yet! Christmas Eve we did some sleding, ate a yummy dinner, opened Christmas Eve boxes with Jammie's in them, then drove through the Festival of Lights

We stopped and got ice cream on the way home as well

I couldn't wait for Ryder to go to bed to set out his Santa gifts! Seriously how fun is Christmas when you have kids?! He was at the perfect age for Christmas this year.

Ryder actually slept in until almost 9am Christmas morning! It was a Christmas miracle. He was so excited when he came downstairs and saw all his toys, especially Mickey Mouse

It took us forever to open presents because he wanted to play with every one of them as soon as he opened them

We ate a yummy brunch while Ryder played with his toys and wrapping paper. While watching a Christmas story of course!

We got ready for the day then headed out to see some family. He loved this stuffed Deer he got and had to take it with us.

We had lunch with family and even got to do a little swimming. Which Ryder hated by the way! Not sure why.

We had the best Christmas and I'm SO sad it's already over. The rest of the week will be spent recovering from the Christmas craziness and getting ready for the hubby's birthday and the new year. I hope you all had a magical Christmas!

Life lately

It's been a while since I've done a "life lately" post filled with a gazillion pictures. We have been so busy lately. We are adjusting to my hubby's new job. Going to a Christmas party every weekend, and I'm nursing a sweet cold that I just can't seem to kick. Which also means my house is a mess, the fridge is empty and I've been in my Jammie's for days. I'm just hoping the rest of the family doesn't catch it so I can finish the last of my Christmas shopping this week. I swear I only get sick when I'm pregnant. Anyway, here's what we've been up to...in pics!

The hubby went out of town for a few days. And for some reason Cash gets protective and nervous when Tyson is gone. As you can see, he never left Ryder's side.

It of course had to be a blizzard while he is gone. I don't know how the stupid snow blower works so I huffed and puffed until that driveway was shoveled. But Ryder got to play in the snow in the mean time.

And last not but not least, Ryder decided to go on a week long sleep strike. He would refuse to nap then fall asleep in the weirdest places at 5pm. I could not wake him up for the life of me! Which resulted in him staying up late at night.

Late night pop tarts and milk in bed with me. It was a bribe to get him to go to bed, which didn't work!

I hope you all have a great week preparing for Christmas!

12 Weeks

I'm sorry for the annoying bathroom selfie! My husband was out of town so I had to take the pic myself! The next ones will be better :) I swear this bump is growing so much faster than my first pregnancy. I can't wait until I actually look pregnant not just like I've gained weight.

How far along: 12 weeks
Gender: We find out the first of January. I'm hoping for another boy!
Weight gain: 1 pound. This still made me gasp
Maternity clothes: Just gap super soft maternity leggings. They are so comfy pregnant or not!
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: Good minus getting up all night to pee
Best moment this week: realizing my morning sickness is mostly gone! And I got to hear the heartbeat today. Best feeling ever
Worst moment this week: Hormone headaches! The worst.
Miss anything: Dr pepper! I had to choose between coffee or dr pepper. Coffee won.
Movement: I swore I felt a flutter the other day!
Cravings: Salt and vinegar chips - actually anything salty and vinegary! And cereal
Queasy or sick: A little nausea here and there and a few headaches
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender in less than a month
