Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends! I hope you have all enjoyed our great week of Giveaways!! A few have ended, but our Madeline's Box and Modern Piggy giveaways are still going strong. I want to thank all of you that have entered and have supported my blog! I am so thankful for you all. For those of you who are new around here, My name is Whitney and I am married to Tyson and a Mom of  two little boys; Ryder who is almost 4 and Gage who is almost 2 with a baby girl due in August. {Heaven help me I know...} I am a hairstylist turned stay at home mom who loves, coffee, sunshine, and the outdoors. You will find I mostly blog about my family, shopping, beauty, mom + kid products and a whole lot of random things. Welcome to the blog! And now...on to our weekly Friday Favorites.

A few weeks ago I mentioned a sale that Trilogy Design was having where I snagged the boys some tee's from their Alphabet Collection. They are so cute in person and that blue is so bright I love it! Although I didn't realize their shirts together made BS and I got many comments the day they wore these about it.

I thought I loved Old Navy for the boys and then I started shopping for baby girl stuff and it took my love to a whole new level! I love that they have a great selection of modern clothes at such an affordable price. Right now I am loving this Flutter Sleeve Body Suit, Floral Onesie, Blush Ruffle Bodysuit, Jersey Tank Dress, Dobby top + Bloomer set and as always their Boys Sleepwear is my favorite. My obsession is real my friends.

June and January is releasing their new Hoodie Jumpers and Playsuits tonight at 9pm EST. Since baby girl is due the end of August I'm mostly trying to stock up for Fall so that grapefruit hoodie jumper has my name all over it!

We have been searching everywhere for a nice patio set that doesn't cost us our first born child. Last weekend we went to home depot for sprinkler parts and ended up leaving with this Hampton Bay Posada 7 Piece Set for such a great price! The best part about it is it's the most beautiful shade of grey. My grey loving heart is so happy!

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I think I've hinted to Tyson a hundred times that I want this Grey Bag from Little Unicorn. I stumbled upon it while ordering the Summer Poppy and Berry and Bloom swaddles. Swoon!

Anything Lemon flavored has been my jam lately so these Glazed Lemon Blueberry Scones have my mouth watering. Perfect summer time treat! Although I'm not much of a baker so I'm a little scared i'd completely butcher them. Wish me luck!

It has been raining for 1567 days straight....really it's been only 5 but it all feels the same. So we are crossing our fingers for a tiny break in storms this weekend so we can get out of the house for a few minutes to save our sanity. I love Spring, but the 2 week tease of warm weather followed by a full week snow and rain makes me a little batty. Hurry up Summer! We are ready for you.
Have a great weekend friends!!

Modern Piggy

You all know I love to shop small when I can and when it comes to shops that sell bows and headbands there are a lot of them. So I like to shop from the ones that I get recommendations from other mama's and Modern Piggy is one of my favorites that was recommended to me. They have a HUGE selection of bows that it is so hard to pick just a few. My favorites right now are Sky Leather Baby Bow and Clara Mini Piggy Bow.

I love that you can get the same fabric choice in many different bow styles like the mini piggy, dainty piggy, hand-tied and also come on clips, elastic or headbands. So little girls of all ages can wear them.

The headbands are super soft and stretchy which makes sure the bow stays on but isn't too tight on a fresh little newborn head. Modern Piggy offers free shipping, always {say what?!} and their customer service is amazing.

Modern Piggy is giving one lucky winner a $15 shop credit! The winner must be 18 or older and have a US Shipping address. The giveaway starts today 04/27 and will run until 05/01 9pm MST. Winner will be contacted via Social Meida and have 24 Hours to respond. There are many ways to enter! Details below.

KB Cute Designs

My headband and swaddle blanket obsession is real my friends. Baby girl doesn't have a whole lot of clothes but you better believe her headband and swaddle stash is fully stocked. I love buying swaddles from small shops because I always feel like they are so much softer. KB Cute Designs is my one of my favorite small shops, their fabric is so buttery soft I wish they made their blankets in my size. Kb Cute has a great selection of swaddle bundles that come with a super soft swaddle blanket with a matching hat or headband. Perfect for wrapping your fresh newborn in at the hospital.

The Black Floral Bundle is just so beautiful the pictures don't even do it justice. It is 45x45 inches of stretch knit blanket which is not only perfect for swaddling but is great to use as a nursing cover, car seat cover and can easily be thrown in your diaper bag on the go. I also really love the Grey Textured Bundle for boys and the Black and White Stripe as a gender neutral option.

KB Cute is so generously offering a bundle set to one lucky winner. Enter the giveaway below and good luck!!

Nuby Natural Touch Infant Starter Set

If any new mom were to ever ask me what is the one baby product I would recommend to someone that I just can't live without after having a newborn, my answer would be a bottle kit. Not just a few bottles, I mean a bottle set full of different size bottles and different flow nipples. When Ryder was just born he got so frustrated taking a bottle that he refused to eat. We found out it was because the flow was just not fast enough for him and all we had to do was change the nipple size. For Gage, he was strictly breastfed so finding a bottle that he could transition to from the breast was a challenge.
So I am so excited to introduce you to Nuby's latest product, Natural Touch Bottles.

These new Natural Touch bottles are easy-latch feeding bottles with NEW super soft nipples. The Nipple is inspired by the shape, texture, and natural flex of mom's breast, encouraging babies to latch more easily.

- Soft Flex breast size nipple mimics mom's breast & encourages latch on.
-Flex & Stretch nipple encourages natural action of breast feeding.
-Soft nubs on the surface massage baby's gums.
-Valves reduce air ingestion, which may cause colic.
- Bpa Free.

You can get Nuby Natural Touch products separate or it also comes in a convenient Starter Set.

The Starter Set includes:

2- 9 oz bottles with medium flow nipples.
2- 6 oz bottles with slow flow nipples.
1- 48 ct pacifier & teether wipes.
2- ortho pacifiers with massaging bristles.
1- Snug n Dry Bib
1- Easy Grip bottle brush

Literally everything any newborn ever needs in one box.

You can see how different the nipple is shaped compared to most bottles and I love how wide shaped the nipple base is to mimic mom's breast. It has anti colic valves but doesn't have a million parts that need to be washed like other bottles I have used so that's also a huge plus.

I love that it came with binky's and all natural pacifier wipes. Another one of my favorites is Nuby's Softees Natural Flex Pacifier. There is no such thing as too many binkies!!

As a mom of almost three who has been through what feels like hundreds of bottles, I am so excited to use these with baby girl soon.

Nuby Natural Touch Infant Bottles with Easy Latch Nipple are now available at select Babies R Us stores and on Babies R Us website here.

Learn more about Nuby Natural Touch bottles here.

Today we are teaming up with Nuby to giveaway a Natural Touch Bottle Feeding Kit to one lucky winner! Enter the giveaway below and good luck mama's!

Freshly Picked Giveaway!

Happy Sunday friends! I am SO excited for this week because every day we will be highlighting some of our favorite shops and their products! We will also be giving away their goodies each day and you won't want to miss any of them. We are starting our giveaway week off with a bang with our favorite moccasin brand Freshly Picked.

As most of you know, we are huge fans of FP Moccasin's in this house. My boys have worn them since they were just babies. They are perfect for little growing feet, are so easy to put on and are so buttery soft. In the Summertime we skip the flip flops and head right for the Moccs! I love their huge range of colors making it super easy for my boys to wear without looking girly. But I do have to say, now that I'm shopping for baby girl, their rainbow of girl colors are to die for!

Here are a few ways we are styling our Freshly Picked Moccasin's for baby girl on the way.

Oasis {My new favorite for boys and girls!}

Raspberry sold out. Salt Water Taffy is very similar.

Salt Flats. The whole Utah Collection is my favorite! Especially for boys.

We are so excited to be giving away a pair of soft sole moccs to one lucky reader! Enter the giveaway below! May the odds be ever in your favor.....    <----- I had to do it.

{ Follow me on Instagram to be the first to know about this week's giveaways! @whitrichins}

Mid - Week Madness

Hey hey hey humpday! The sun is shining , we have an awesome spring breeze blowing through our house and these two cute boys are smiling. Oh, and no one is sick today so we are extra happy.

The weather the past few weekends haven't been that great, which actually worked out okay because everyone has been sick. We spent many days cuddled in our Jammie's hibernating inside, so when the forecast called for 80 degree weather all week we were so excited to trade our Jammie's for tank tops.

This warm weather has me so excited for Summer. Ryder has only about a month left of school and I am so excited to throw our schedule out for a few months. Campfires, flowers, bare feet and sunshine are what my dreams are made of right now. Oh and baking.... There is lots of baking going on in this house.

How's that for some mid - week randomness?? Have a great day friends' xo

Friday Favorites: Baby Girl Edition

This post is brought to you by lots caffeine and Tylenol. The never ending virus has struck our house again and now Gage is the one with a high fever...for what appears to be no reason at all. So, with only two hours of sleep, we are snuggling up with coffee and Tylenol and trying our best to enjoy this Friday. In the mean time, I am swooning over my current baby girl stash. I still cant wrap my head around the fact that we are having a girl! So today I am rounding up a list of a few of my current girl goodies. {Hint, we are giving some of these gems away at the end of the month. Keep your eye out!}

You all know I have a mad obsession with baby jammies. I have an even bigger obsession with jammies that have modern and unique patterns. Enter my newest obsession Bonds. You guys, their Wondersuits are just too good and their designs are so much better than most baby jams. The floral ones are my favorite including this and this one. They come made so you can use footies or mittens when they are little and just fold them over when they get bigger. Genius. I also really love baby gowns for when their are newborn, making it easy for late night diaper changes. Purl Lamb's Organic Knotted Sleepers are my favorite, and they are one sale! You're welcome.

Headbands...let's talk headbands. Their are a million small shops that sell bows and I love every.single.one.of.them. The headband struggle is real. So far my favorite shops are Modern Piggy, Lou Lou and Company, Free Babes and June and January.

Swaddle blankets are also a must for new babies and I'm really loving Mint and Arrows Caccoon Swaddles, KB Cute Designs Swaddle Bundles and Little Unicorn's Poppy Swaddle.

Since our baby is due the very end of August, I have been trying to get more Fall clothing since she will only be in Summer clothing for a small time. These Knit Tights will be perfect for keeping baby girl warm this Fall.  Pair them with a matching Swing Dress and cardigan for the cutest outfit.

Sorry girl mama's, I know that's a lot of girly goodness in just one post! For my fellow boy mama's,
Trilogy Design Co is having a 40% off sale using code 2Trilogy at checkout. Run, don't walk and snag some of their tee's from my favorite Alphabet Collection.

Have a great weekend! xo

Tubby Todd

You don't realize how important skin care is for kids until you have one with skin issues. After Gage was born he soon developed bad eczema. Ryder didn't have any skin issues so we were a little lost as how to handle the situation. Fast forward through Doctor appointments and medicated cream we stumbled upon Tubby Todd where We quickly learned that using the whole Tubby Todd System kept Gage's exczema under control. The boys' bath time routine looks a little something like this - bubble bath and Hair & Body Wash,  Followed by the Everyday Lotion for Ryder while Gage gets Dream Cream all over and the All Over Ointment for any rough patches or diaper rash. I also love the ointment for occasional sunburns on my sweet little red head.
We also make sure Gage gets a full body rub down morning and night everyday with the dream cream to keep his eczema at bay. This stuff is amazing, I only wish they made huge tubs of it!
We use the Baby Fresh Spray in the boys' bathroom because...well, it's a boy's bathroom and we also use it a lot in the Summertime when the boys are hot and sweaty. I'm excited to use this with the new baby as well! I hear it works wonders with the baby spit up smell.

The whole Tubby Todd line is all natural so it's perfect for the most sensitive skin and tiniest newborns. This is one of the first things I stocked up for when I learned I was pregnant. There will be no running out of the goods in this house!
 Happy washing friends! xo

Halfway There

Today is my 20th week of pregnancy which means I'm officially half way done! The fact that this pregnancy is flying by has me so excited and slightly terrified. In the first half of my pregnancy I have managed to only accomplish buying her bows, blankets and Moccs. You know, the necessities. Guys, my bow obsession is out. Of. Control.
We have so much to do before she arrives and it's a little overwhelming. Moving Gage out of the crib and into Ryder's room is at the top of the list. It's also the task I'm dreading the most! Wish us luck with that one.
But, I'm hoping my nesting instincts kick in early and I somehow manage to get it all done.

My morning sickness has decided to show back up once or twice a day which is pretty disappointing. It's not as bad as it was in the beginning so that I'm thankful for. Other than that I'm feeling pretty good although I do forget about the belly and bump into things alot. By Things I mean Gage and by bump I mean ricocheting him halfway across the room.

I'm finally starting to feel her move although I do feel like she is a quiet baby. Maybe it's because she's still pretty small but I mostly feel her at night. She is also very very low which I'm not used to. Both my boys were so high up that I had terrible rib pain but with this pregnancy I have pelvic and lower back pain with a  mean waddle already.

My cravings range from ice cream, Italian soda, and fresh fruit to steak, salt and vinegar chips and salads. Hashtag give me all the food.

So far I am just loving every minute of this pregnancy! It's my last and I'm definitely soaking it up. I also can't get enough of all the girl goodies I've been finding and I'm so excited to share them with you all so keep an eye out!

Have a great week everyone! xo

Spring Break

I was hoping this post would be full of sunshine pics and fun plans Buuuut we are sick again. AGAIN. Fever's, runny nose's, cough's, no sleep and not enough coffee. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but apparently being pregnant while taking care of two sick littles ones makes it ten times harder. It's our Spring Break this week which means I've turned off all alarm clocks and we basically haven't been out of our Jammie's. Say hello to the preview of our Summer. Before the sickness got too bad we were able to make a trip to the Zoo so atleast I can say we have done one fun thing this break. Gage kept asking if he could ride the monkeys and he was so concerned when one of them dropped the celery stick he was eating. Yelling "Pick it up monkey, PICK IT UPPP!!!" Ryder just kept asking where all the baby animals we're at. Such a nurturer that one is.

I just wanted to pop in say hello, tell you that I haven't disappeared and to maybe drop a hint about a huge giveaway coming up that might include some FP Moccs, dreamy swaddle blankets, headbands and some other baby goodness. So stay tuned!

Oh, and I really just wanted to share a pic of Gage trying on baby sissy's headband and the flower's he picked for me all by himself. Oh My heart Gage.
