13 & 14 month favorites

As you can see we are slowly transitioning into fall, even though its still July! Moccs and deer leggings scream fall, so I couldnt pass them up. Its almost August so bring on the Halloween countdown!

If your looking for some summer favorites instead, click here and here.

I swear Ryder is growing by the minute and he is at such a fun age!
His favorite foods are peaches, avocado, cheese and green beans. He is wearing 18-24 month and 2T clothes. He says mama, dada, kuku (yucky), baby, cat, dog and cash (our dog).

Here are some of our faves....

I died when I found Freshly Picked!! A baby in moccs is the cutest thing ever. These are hand made with high quality leather so they are sturdy and soft. I bought a size bigger so Ryder can wear them for a while and they still stay on his feet. A must have this fall!

My hubby is a big hunter and when I found these deer leggings I couldn't buy them fast enough. They are made out of organic cotton so they are so soft and fit so Well. Plus, with deer on them the word "legging" is much more boyish! :)

We have had a hard time finding cups for Ryder because he is not a fan of sippy cups. So this is perfect for him! The straw cannot be pulled out from the top so the babe cant make a mess. These are also leak free and have yet to break or crack despite being thrown into the ground over and over.

This shop has the cutest baby clothes and their signature Milk Drunk Tee is my favorite!! It also comes in a onesie for the little babes!

Despite being a licensed Hairstylist, I had the hardest time finding good hair products for Ryder without it damaging his hair or being full of chemicals. Tangled Tantrum has a full hair line that is free of Alcohol and Parabens. The Styling Paste is my favorite product so far because I like the seperation and control it has without it being hard as a rock.

And as always... Pics of the little!

Cara box

Cara Box

This was my very first month apart of the Cara Box Exchange. For those of you who dont know what it is, a bunch of bloggers get together and are assigned another blogger. You get to know that person through their blog and email then you send them a box full of goodies coordinating with that months theme. For more info on the Cara Box Exchange you can click here.

This month I was matched up to send a box to Sarah and Cassie was matched up with me to send me a box. To see what I sent Sarah head on over to her blog. Sarah it was great getting to know you and I hope you love your box! I'm so excited that I got to make a new blogger friend. :)

Anyway, Cassie was matched with me to send me a box and let me just say she is the sweetest girl ever! She is a young blogger at only 14 years old (which you would never guess by the way!) We had alot in common including our love for dance and beauty.
This months theme was Nautical which I think was a little intimidating and hard. In our exchange of emails I told Cassie I was a hairdresser and loved anything that had to do with beauty and that my favorite color was Coral. She sent me Nail Polish in the cutest shades of Coral, some nails, makeup and the sweetest note ever! Thank you Cassie for the box and it was great getting to know you. To check out Cassie's Beauty Blog click here.

P.S. Today is the last day to take advantage of 30% off at Old Navy and Gap using coupon code EVERYONE at check out! You bet I ordered tons of Fall things for little mister! Yep I said the F word

Sun's out, guns out

Happy SUNNY Sunday! We have gotten some much needed rain and the sun has finally come out today. Which means were back to our normal morning walks in our Jammie's and relaxing on the porch.
Look at those guns!! (Notice his Tiny Chuck Taylor's. I.die.)

This weekend was full of his silly cuteness! His new thing is to mess up his hair right after I finish doing it. He thinks its hilarious. Me on the other hand, cringe!

Seriously, this smile melts my heart!

We ended saturday night with some alone time at a movie with the hubs.

Hope you all had a great weekend and are having a Sunday Funday!

When the hubby is away....

You do absolutely nothing! The hubs is on a 5 day fishing trip in Canada which means the whole house is all out of sorts! We have been living in our Jammie's, staying up late, and I've basically eaten cereal for dinner the past three nights. And since its been raining 90% of the weekend we are bored.as.hell.

We did however make it to the pool for about 20 minutes until it started pouring on us. But look at this cute boy catching some rays!!

The dog even had cabin fever. Let us out!!!!!

And I caught myself watching Keeping up with the Kardashians at midnight eating salt and vinegar chips. Shit.got.real.

Now, these last few days haven't been a total waste. I was able to get some stuff going for my new etsy shop coming soon! I can't wait for you all to see! I hope you all had a great weekend.

{Independence Day}

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Independence Day!!

We started the morning off right with some red velvet star shaped pancakes, whip cream and blueberries.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing outside and getting ready for our BBQ

I know what your thinking, I'm not in festive 4th of July colors! In my defense my shirt says America on it :)

My s'mores bar totally got shut down due to the fact that our fire pit broke. So mad!!! We were forced to get redneck and roast them on the grill.

I was really looking forward to Ryder watching fireworks for the first time, but by time it got dark He was out. I don't know how he slept through all the noise.

I hope you all had as great of a day as we did!

Fourth of July countdown

We have been so crazy around here that I just realized that the Fourth is in TWO Days! Our Fourth festivites will include red, white and blue pancakes, swimming, tasty drinks, BBQ with Elk steaks and corn on the cob, a fire with a smores bar, and of course fireworks! (Pics to come) And while we do all this fun stuff lets not forget while we celebrate this day. Thank you to all the past and present soldiers for all they do for this Country.

If you are looking for some patriotic crafts to do the next few days head on over to Amy Robison Blog she has some really cute and easy stuff to add to your Fourth festiveness!

Speaking of patriotic, how funny is this tank ?? I stumbled upon this just barely, I wish I would have found this earlier so I could wear it on the Fourth.

Like I said above, we have had a crazy few days. We put our house for sell, sold a car, and bought a car. All within like 2 days. We did manage to squeeze a few fun activities into our busy schedule over the weekend. Friday it reached 105 degrees! Yep I typed that right. So we found ourselves at the pool and eating popsicles like crazy

Eating popsicles is fun until you realize you ate it all gone!

This little guy about melted in his church outfit but, a baby in a tie?? My heart burst into a million pieces.
