Happy Birthday Ryder!!!

Really early this morning, my little baby boy turned two years old. I'm not sure where time went but we sure have loved seeing him grow up! Ryder is the sweetest and most loving little boy you will ever meet and has the the cutest personality. Here are a few things about Ryder...
His favorite person in the whole wide world is his daddy. Daddy makes everything better!
Whenever a bird or plane flies by he tries SO hard to jump in the sky and catch it.
He pretends to cough then grabs my hand to pat his back.
His favorite words are noooo and more.
He calls any man with white hair "papa!!"
He loves animals, loves to fish, going on walks, chasing the dog Cash and anything outdoors.
He carries a Pepsi can around calling it "Dada's water"
He loves trucks, cars, playing in the dirt, any kind of ball, balloons, planes and bugs.
His favorite shows are Mickey Mouse and Little Bear.
He loves riding in his dad's truck and asks to go in it daily.

We are so blessed to call this boy ours and can't wait to see what the future brings for him. We love you Ryder Trace!!

Nursery Inspiration

Well I'm officially considered full term next week and I still haven't started on the nursery yet. I just can't decide how I want to do it and I figure I have some time since the baby will sleep in our room for a while. I'm trying to decide between a rustic theme or just go with a color combo like grey and different shades of blue. Here are my favorites that I have found on Pinterest. To see more check out my Nursery Board and Ryder's Room Board

I love the colorful ABC wall. I'm thinking about doing something like this in more boyish colors then framing the initial of the baby's name.

I love this grey wall.

We have so many kids books, I would love to have them on display and I love the hanging baskets.

I love wood walls! I swear I will eventually have a few of these in my home.

Memorial Day Weekend

What a great holiday weekend! Tyson ended up having 4 days off and it was so nice having him home. Ryder especially loved it and was not happy when he woke up this morning and daddy wasn't hiding under the covers to surprise him. We spent most the weekend fishing, feeding the ducks and going for long walks.

Saturday we finished up birthday shopping for Ryder and hit up some Memorial Day sales. I made the mistake of going into a Carter's outlet during their 50% off sale and the new baby officially has way too many clothes.

Sunday Tyson smoked a brisket {which was amazing!} and we spent all day playing basketball and running around the backyard.

Monday was so hot so we spent all day playing in the water. This water table was suppose to be a birthday present but I couldn't help myself! He absolutely loved it. His favorite part was filling up the cups and pouring it on the dog.

Despite running around all day everyday, this kid has his 2 year molars coming in and sleeping this weekend just didn't happen. Sunday night was the worst and Ryder kept saying "ow mama!" His mouth hurt so bad. I gave him some Tylenol and he spent 3 hours just hanging out in his bed. Poor kid.

Perfect shirt after getting 3 hours of sleep.

I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and took a moment to remember why we celebrate this day. Thank you to all who have served, are still serving and their families for your sacrifice for this country.

It's officially Ryder's birthday week so we will be busy getting ready for all the fun this weekend! Happy Tuesday

35 Weeks

How far along: 35 Weeks
Gender: Boy!!
Weight gain: 20 lbs
Maternity clothes: Yes. I don't have many summer maternity clothes and since I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy I'm just trying to squeeze into whatever I can.
Stretch marks: I found one on my stomach the other day and panicked. My husband thought someone had died.
Belly button in or out: It's flat and not cute at all
Sleep: Not very good at all! It's impossible to get comfortable and I'm getting sick of having to take a trip to the bathroom every hour.
Best moment this week: Realizing I'm full term in just two weeks!
Worst moment this week: Not having any energy at all. I laid on the floor yesterday to play with Ryder and somehow dozed off. I woke up to the house destroyed and Ryder playing with markers.
Miss anything: Being able to do normal things like bend over, roll over, get off the couch and walk without getting winded.
Movement:  Lots of it!  His kicks are really strong now that he's running out of room.
Cravings:  Toast with Strawberry Jam and anything lemon.
Queasy or sick: Oh the heartburn!!!
Looking forward to: Ryder's birthday, washing and putting away the babies clothes and packing my hospital bag.

Ryder is turning TWO

This sweet, handsome little man of mine is turning TWO next week! I'm sad that he is growing so fast but I am loving this age. He has the cutest little personality and I love watching him grow and learn new things. He is the sweetest, silliest most loving little boy I know!
Here are some pictures from his 2nd birthday photo shoot.

We are in full party planning mode over here and we can't wait to celebrate next week!
