Friday Favorites

 

 

Pumpkin flavored everything is starting to hit the shelves everywhere and I am officially excited for Fall. Bath and Body Works has released all of their new Fall scents and I snagged a few hand soaps a few days ago. My favorite is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. The pumpkin isn't too overwhelming and I'm definitely going back to get it in a candle.

 

With Pumpkin popping up everywhere you know Halloween goodies are too. These Boo PJ Sets are the cutest things ever. I love that Old Navy sizing runs small so Gage can fit into a pair too.

 

 

Speaking of Halloween, BabyLit Books are on sale over at Brickyard Buffalo and you better believe I snagged Dracula and Frankenstein for the boys. I also bought Alice in Wonderland, The Christmas Carol and The Jungle Book. While you are there check out their Fall Scented Candles from Candelles. I am dying to try the Pomegranate and Cider!

Life Lately {In Pictures}

We've been having some cooler weather on and off the last few days and we've been loving it! I've started pulling out our long sleeve shirts and beanies for our morning walks and it's getting me really excited for Fall. Its been raining non stop since yesterday afternoon and even though I love the rain, I'm getting a glimpse at the cabin fever that's going to plague our house this winter. All Ryder wants to do is play outside and keeping him entertained inside is going to be hard.

With cooler weather comes lots of baking in our house and aren't these two the cutest helpers you've ever seen?? 

We went to a relatives wake over the weekend where I snapped this cute picture. Gage's smile is killing me! Ryder was nowhere to be found for most of the day, apparently he has a new found independence and was off playing with friends and wanted nothing to do with mom and dad. I don't know what I'll do when the day comes that he doesn't need me anymore!

Just when I started to get confident about my sleep training skills Gage has thrown me a curveball. He was taking plenty of naps during the day in his crib and going to bed early at night only waking up once to feed. Then the last two days he has decided to not nap during the day or sleep at night. Last night he woke up every 30 minutes or so because his stupid binky kept falling out and today he was awake from 7:45am to 8:00pm. Twelve.freaking.hours. How is that even physically possible for a newborn?? It's a good thing he's cute. 

And I finished out my day with these freshly bathed, matching babes. Pray to the sleep gods that we all get some sleep tonight! 

Gage's Blessing Day

On Sunday our sweet baby Gage got blessed. He looked so handsome in his white tux and was such a happy baby that day. My dad is the one who blessed him and he did such an amazing job. He has such a way with words and you could feel the love in his voice.

 All of our family came and it was a great feeling being surrounded by all of the people who love and support our little family. I couldn't have asked for a more special day. 

Both boys had a rough night Saturday thanks to molars cutting and a growth spurt making for a very hungry baby all night long. So when I woke both of them up at 7am to be ready for church at 9am they were not happy. So sadly I wasn't able to get very many good pictures of them together. They are all either blurry or someone is crying. But The one where Ryder is kissing Gage is my favorite.

Sadly these are all the pictures I took! I was busy running around visiting family, taking care of the boys, making sure everyone had food and before I knew it everyone was gone. But it was such a special day for our little family. We are truly blessed and I am so excited to see these little boys grow up.
