Brothers

Sorry for my lack of blogging lately, I'm still trying to adjust to having two babes! I am a person who loves schedules and routines and having a newborn has thrown me off a little bit. Okay... It's thrown me off A LOT.

Ryder has adjusted amazingly to having a new baby in the house. I was so worried that he would feel neglected but he acts like nothing has changed. He loves helping change Gage's diapers and he even tries to help carry his car seat. He loves cuddling him, giving him kisses, playing with his hair and even pretends to wrestle with him. These pictures just melt my heart.

I'm so thankful Ryder has done well with the change, it has definitely helped us transition to two kids a little better. I would be lying if I said that having two isnt hard. It's HARD. I haven't gotten dressed in days, I ate cereal for dinner and my house is an absolute disaster. But I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I don't know if its just me but I think the newborn stage is so hard. I'm looking forward to less crying and more sleep in the months ahead.

I have been writing Gage's birth story and should have that as well as his newborn pictures posted soon, so keep an eye out. Have a Great week!

  2. Can't wait to hear the birth story! I'm so nervous about having two this coming January! Especially in the winter!! Cabin fever sucks!! How far apart are your boys? My son will be 28 months when the next one is born!

    1. You know what the winter may not be too bad, Ryder is used to being outside all day everyday that he freaks out now that I can't take him out as much! Atleast your little guy will already know he can't go out haha. Ryder is 25 months! Do you know what you are having yet??
