Hello, December!

Welcome December! The most magical month of the year, The Friday of all the months, the best time of the year! December 1st is also known as elf on the shelf day to most people. With Ryder older and now able to understand the concept of it, I was super excited to do it this year and we've been talking about it for weeks. Until I went looking for said elf and he somehow got lost during our move. #momfail. Soooo until our elf arrives, you can just find us hanging out by the Christmas tree.

Thanksgiving was amazing. Smoked turkey, potatoes, yams, rolls and plenty of pumpkin pie filled our bellies while being surrounded by family filled our hearts. This is G's first real thanksgiving where he could actually eat all the food and let me tell you, this kid can eat. Pretty sure he ate more than me. Ryder just requested a can of whipped cream.

Black Friday we slept in, grabbed a coffee and headed to the mall around Noon. We just had a few things on our list. Victoria's Secret sucked me in this year with their sale. I snagged these thermal sleep leggings and thermal sleep Henley {pictured above} plus they had a great deal on their workout tops that I couldn't pass up. I also braved Bath and Body Works which turned out to be the busiest store we went in thanks to their Buy 3 Get 3 Free deal. Winter candy apple candle...you were so worth it.
Also, Sephora had some great deals including this Philosphy Purity Made Simple face wash and Philosophy Holiday Gift Set which would be a great present. Keep an eye out for my gift guide later this week for more ideas!

If there is anything busier than getting prepared for a Holiday, it's cleaning up after the Holiday. Fresh snow on the ground kept us inside yesterday cleaning, coloring Christmas pictures and playing Michael Buble on repeat. Bring it on December, We're ready for you and all our goodness!
